Welcome to Akikazu Nakamura’s shakuhachi school!
Akikazu offers shakuhachi lessons for
all ages, both in-person and online.
Having learnt from several shakuhachi masters, and as a
professional performer with over 40 years of experience, Akikazu has combined his vast
knowledge to create a special shakuhachi course for the modern-day learner, innovating tradition while keeping true to the shakuhachi’s roots. In addition to shakuhachi lessons,
Akikazu also teaches vocalisation for narration, composition and breathing.
